Coffee Pot Restaurant
Coffee Pot is the breakfast diner Sedona has had since 1957 — 101 omelettes on the menu (yes, really, including peanut butter and jelly), generous portions, fast service, and counter seating that gets a steady rotation of locals from the West Sedona neighbourhoods around Coffee Pot Rock. The closest classic-diner breakfast to most of our rentals.
Why we send guests here
2050 W SR-89A in West Sedona, four minutes from most of our properties. A genuine 1957-vintage breakfast diner: red vinyl booths, counter seating, a wall menu of 101 omelettes that ranges from the sensible (Western, Denver, veggie) to the deliberately absurd (PB&J, which exists as a dare and is exactly what it sounds like). Stick with one of the savoury combinations — the Coffee Pot omelette (sausage, mushroom, cheese) is the safe order, the huevos rancheros is the Sedona-y order, and the biscuits and gravy come out heavy enough to skip lunch. When to go: early. Doors open at 6 AM and by 8 AM the wait is twenty minutes on weekends; weekdays before 9 are easy. Cash and card both, but the line moves fastest if you have your party assembled when you walk up. $12–$20 per person. Coffee is bottomless and the pancakes are plate-sized — bring a hiking appetite.
